Just after midnight last night a domestic dispute between Jeremy Christopher Poole, 32, and his family resulted in Jeremy Poole locking himself in his bedroom and threatening to commit suicide.  Williamson County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the residence at 1342 Holly Tree Gap Road near Brentwood.

Poole refused to open the door for the deputies.  The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Ream (SRT) and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) were deployed at the address.  Negotiations were begun with Poole and after approximately four hours, he surrendered to deputies and was taken into custody.

A weapon was found at the scene, however, no one was injured during the incident.

Poole was charged with domestic related simple assault and booked into the Williamson County Detention Center.  He is being held on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court at 2 p.m. on July 21.
