Brentwood Academy is offering a workshop entitled Understanding Social Media: Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.  The public is invited to join BA parents, alumni, parents of alumni and friends to untangle the "not really difficult" mysteries of social media.

 Instructed by BA faculty member, Warren Bezuidenhout,  participants will learn the basics of social media and create their own accounts. Topics include the new vocabulary, how to upload photos and video clips, as well as beneficial usage for social media.

The workshop is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, in the eighth-grade computer room located in the middle school on the BA campus. Admission is free.
