BGA quarterback C.J. Beathard was pressured all night by BA's Justin Moore (35), George Theragood (99) and Amos Mason (56).
Eagles pick off 3 passes; Wade runs for 4 TDs
By PIERCE GREENBERG For Brentwood Home Page FRANKLIN -- Before Friday night, Battle Ground Academy quarterback C.J. Beathard only had one pass intercepted all year.

Corien Owens (79) blocks a Wildcat pass, resulting in a turnover.
Jalen Ramsey (7) breaks more than one tackle during his run into the end zone.
Brentwood Academy quarterback Max Staver proves to be a threat with his running game.
But Brentwood Academy rattled the Ole Miss recruit and forced three interceptions on its way to a 45-28 win over the Wildcats in DII-AA East/Middle play.
"I thought we had a really good plan and the kids executed it for the most part," BA coach Ralph Potter said. "We could get pressure on the quarterback and also get pressure on the receivers, so I thought that was really well done."
Jalen Ramsey, Rashaan Gaulden and Reid Besch all came up with interceptions for the Eagles (6-1, 4-0). But most of those came thanks to pressure on Beathard.
"We had to contain him and we had to stop the quick game," Eagles defensive lineman Amos Mason said. "We did a pretty good job of that."
BA also managed to dominate the line of scrimmage on the offensive side. The offensive line opened holes for D'Montre Wade that helped him score touchdowns of 3, 37, 40, and 78 yards.
"Defensively we've been pretty good up front all year, offensively we've really improved the last two or three weeks," Potter said.
The Eagles offense had scoring drives of 80, 66, 57, and 45 yards for a 24-0 lead going into halftime. It wasn't until late in the third quarter that BGA scored after BA senior Al Thompson muffed a punt and set the Wildcats up at the Eagles' 21-yard line.
But on his next chance at a return, Thompson made up for his mistake with a weaving 71-yard return for a touchdown that put the Eagles' up 38-7.
BGA scored two touchdowns with less than three minutes to play to narrow the margin.
The Eagles defensive line played without Virginia Tech commit Woody Baron, who was out with an injury.
"Sophomore Derek Barnett had to step up and he did," Mason said.
