Longtime Brentwood resident Maggie Speight was honored at the dedication of the Harley and Maggie Speight Garden on the Brentwood Academy campus recently.

She is pictured with Brentwood Academy headmaster Curt Masters, who made the presentation at a “garden party.”

What is now the northern portion of the BA campus was “home” to the Speights until 2000.  Mrs. Speight continues to live “on campus” in her home where, as a master gardener, she tends flowers, plants and gardens.
