Defending three-time Division II champion Brentwood Academy swept Ensworth in a regional baseball series, winning the first game on a squeeze bunt but pounding out 13-1 and 12-2 victories on Friday and Saturday.

Taylor Greene and Will Haynie both homered in Saturday's finale, and Tyler Berlin (3-3) picked up the victory on the mound.

On Friday, Eagles junior Hunter Wood pitched a five-hitter and home runs by BA sophomore Will Haynie and senior Nathan Renfro provided the firepower to win the game in only six innings.

On Wednesday, Tyler Berlin's squeeze bunt in the bottom of the seventh inning scored Mason Sutton, whose one-out single started the rally. Sutton got on base with a clutch base hit to center field, then Robert Hinson's line drive single moved Sutton to third.  Nathan Renfro and Eric Henninger combined to provide the pitching to win the game.

The Eagles are scheduled to visit Goodpasture at 4:15 p.m. Monday for a single game, then play the final regional series of the regular season against Montgomery Bell Academy. BA will host the Big Red at 4 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, with Thursday's middle game at MBA.
