Brentwood Home Page news reports Rooftop Foundation, which provides rental assistance to individuals and families in need of emergency financial help in order to maintain stability in their housing, will host a golf scramble fundraiser on Monday, Aug. 30, at Richland Country Club, just north of Brentwood on Granny White Pike.
Individual entry fees for the scramble are $150 and include a continental breakfast, 18 holes of golf, refreshments, prizes and an awards lunch provided by Moe’s Southwest Grill. Foursomes are available for $600 through Aug. 24. On-course competitions will also be held for “closest to the pin,” “hole-in-one” and “longest drive.”
“This golf scramble is an opportunity for community members to enjoy a day of fun and competition while supporting Rooftop and its programs,” said Kelly Raglin, executive director of Rooftop. “After the May floods, we were able to prevent many individuals and families from becoming homeless. Our efforts were possible only because of events like the golf scramble and the people and organizations that support it.”
Companies or individuals interested in participating should register by Tuesday, Aug. 24. Sponsorship opportunities range from $150 for a tee sponsorship to $5,000 for a signature sponsorship. Among the additional sponsorship opportunities are corporate sponsorships of $1,000. RJ Young, MDHA and The Key Alliance have all already committed to this level of sponsorship.
