Three Brentwood Academy baseball players were named to the Division II-AA East-Middle Region team.

Sophomore third baseman Will Haynie joined outfielder Taylor Greene and pitcher Tyler Berlin on the squad.

The Eagles made the state tournament again this season after winning the championship the three previous years.

Baylor's Will Cooper was DII-AA region player of the year. Other members were: C – Alex Hunt (Montgomery Bell Academy); 1B – James Kay (MBA); 2B – Michael Smith (Battle Ground Academy); SS – Alex Kohls (MBA); OF – George Harrison (McCallie); OF – Taylor Maxey (Baylor); P – Paul Caudill (Ensworth); P – Jeff Burke (Baylor); P – Andrew Townes (Father Ryan); and DH – Matt Brooks (Pope John Paul II).
