By WENDY HOSSE For Brentwood Home Page Brentwood High School had three athletic signings last week, with Bruins inking college letters of intent in three different sports.
First to sign was Madison Rush, with her parents Jodi and Kip and BHS swim coach Ginny Maher on hand. Madison will be swimming for Bethel University in the fall.
Soccer standout Alex Blanton, the Bruins’ goalkeeper, signed with Southern Methodist University. Elated parents Jane and Don are very pleased with the outcome of years and years of practice and travel.
Sam Wyatt, with parents Faye and Ed and brother Griffin at his side, signed with Stevenson University in Baltimore to play lacrosse. Sam has been playing on the Long Island Express travel team, ranked No. 1 in the nation for two years, and chose Stevenson University because of its potential to win a national championship.
