Kickoff event draws reps from across county Brentwood Home Page news reports The 15-member transition board that will guide the creation of a unified chamber of commerce for Williamson County was introduced Friday morning at a kickoff event attended by close to 200.
The Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce, the Cool Springs Chamber and the Williamson County Franklin Chamber voted to approve a merger earlier this year but the specifics of how that merged chamber would operate – from its name, to staffing, to office location -- have not been determined. It will be the job of the transition board to determine those specifics.

The transition board will meet later this month. The slogan for the unified chamber is One Williamson – One Chamber.
The kickoff was hosted by the Williamson County Association of Realtors at its new headquarters in Brentwood’s Westgate Commons commercial development just north of Moores Lane. Representatives of local city and county governments, Williamson County Schools and the county’s economic development and tourism agencies also attended.
